This is an unusual and unique album, as it features two generations of jazz musicians from three different families. Assembled in Orlando for the session by Allan Vache, these musicians performed, jammed, laughed, ate, and made great music for two days. Many of the song titles were tongue-in-cheek, but they all share the classic era of traditional jazz, and whether played by the dads or their sons, this music is swinging, smooth, and soothing. This is not only a one-of-a-kind recording, it's really a tribute to these families who continue to play this wonderful music in its most respectful manner. This is a delightful album, beautifully presented by the Nagel-Heyer label.
