Walt Stuart Memorial Fund

Walt Stuart, composer, arranger, bandleader and trumpeter died on August 30, 2008 after a long illness. He was 83 years old.

Walt had lived with his sister Louise Davis for many years, and she took care of him in his declining health. For the last 6 months, Walt's son Brett moved in with Louise and Walt to care for his dad during his many surgeries related to his cancer.

As a result of all the hospitalizations and medications, Walt's family has exhausted their financial resources, to the point where help is needed just to pay for his cremation. And of course, there are lingering medical bills.

If you are willing to help, I have created three donation levels, payable using any credit card, debit card or Paypal account.
Please give if you can, and help to make this a dignified send-off for Walt, who gave us lots of music, memories, and prosperity. Every cent of your money will go to pay for the cremation, with any remaining funds going to Louise to pay Walt's medical bills.
